A busy weekend in the Gulf of Trieste.

It was the weekend of the classic Muggia – Portorose – Muggia international regatta, the closing event of the equally classic "3 Golfi" week.

The regatta is one of the most popular in the region, seeing more than 130 boats on the starting line, including the 38-foot "OFFICINE FVG – IVECO", manned by the same expert crew seen together during the last "Barcolana 10.10.10", held in Trieste in October 2010.

As often happens, even on this occasion, the Gulf of Trieste showed off its delightful spirit to the full, honoring the regatta with winds of up to 120km/h and waves of 2.5-3 meters, conditions which however persisted, forcing the organizers to call off the 2nd return leg from Portorose (SLO) to Muggia (IT).

The weather conditions did not however prevent the "OFFICINE FVG – IVECO" boat from reaching a very satisfactory position: 11th overall and 2nd in its category.
